MEMBERSHIP IS IN A TRANSITION PHASE FOR THE NEW LEGION YEAR 2025-2026. New 2026 reminder cards have been mailed out. Note dues have not changed since last year and are still at $45.
WELCOME HOME ALL VETERANS
DUE TO A CHANGE IN THE U.S. CONGRESS LAWS, ALL, VETERANS, HONORABLY DISCHARGED AND WHO HAVE SERVED ONE DAY OF ACTIVE DUTY ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE AMERICAN LEGION. BECAUSE OUR MEMBERSHIP WAS GOVERNED BY CONGRESSIONAL LAWS AND NOT THE LEGION. MANY VETERANS WERE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP. IF YOU WERE NOT ELIGIBLE BEFORE AND ARE NOW, PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING US AT POST 411 IN CONROE, TEXAS.
